AMAZING WORK OF ART! I can only enjoy the .pdf version as even the affordable Rizzoli version is way out of my price range (I live in south america).

Thank you Jorden for the excellent essay that sheds a little light on such a wonderful enigma.

Cheers from Argentina!

Hi Steve- I found out about it a few days ago and created a profile to say hello over there (alas, I got called out for having no pictures, but I don't have any ink for anyone to check out either). Thanks for the heads up, though. The funny thing is that half of the posts on this blog make fun themselves for being boring (and "boring shit" is the most-used tag I have), so it's no news to me that these posts are boring. That said, they're fun to write, and I actually get a fair number of hits for a blog that is so aggressively targeted toward a small group of obsessive book collectors. Would I expect tattoo enthusiasts, or motorcycle mechanics, or hairdressers, or professional chefs, or anyone else to be interested in it? No, not at all. Do I deserve to be lampooned on some site that I never intended would read or be interested in my blog in "LOL check out boring jackass OMG" type posts? Maybe.

Hi Jordan, just letting you know that your essay above is being used to spam checkoutmyink.com bulletins in the guise of "boring ass shit".

I also note that "you" have a profile on that site:

That is a wonderful story. I was and I am constantly being touched by Chagall anywhere our paths meet, whether it is Bratislava, Vienna or London. I have read his early autobiography and I was really stunned by how he could paint images with words on paper with the same easiness and preciseness as with colors on canvas. And now I find out he has even written some poems? Do you have any idea where I could get them in French, or if there is some English edition as well? Thank you, this is a great blog by the way, keep it up.

As a Joe Vaux superfan, it should be assumed that I was already aware of such an artifact, and so I thank you for providing my blog's ten(s) of readers with this information. I will accept one free puzzle as an exchange for displaying your advertising on my blog.
